The
recitals will start promptly at their scheduled time! Make sure to
get there early. The doors will open 20 minutes prior to each
show. It is “open seating” in the auditorium and seats may not be
saved.
If
you are participating in the opening number, you need to be at the
auditorium 30 minutes before the show starts in your Production
Number costume and ready to line up.
Come
to the recital in your first costume with it covered up. MAKE SURE
that you have all of the pieces for each costume and the correct
shoes. Dancers will not be allowed to perform if they do not have
their costume in its entirety.
Make-up
for the recital is optional.
Hair is to
be pulled back in a low ponytail for all tap, jazz, lyrical and
hip-hop dances.
Hair is to
be pulled back in a bun for all ballet dances.
There
is no nail polish or jewelry allowed for ANY of the dancers. If a
dancer has jewelry or nail polish on, they will not be allowed to
perform.
There
are NO cameras or video cameras allowed at the performances.
You will be allowed to video tape or take pictures at the rehearsal
and dress rehearsal, but if you would like a DVD of a performance,
you must order them.
Order
forms will be at the studio and the recitals.
Students
are allowed and encouraged to watch the rehearsal and dress
rehearsal. This is their only opportunity to see the show.
Each number will be announced to give the students enough time
to get back stage for their dance.
Students
are NOT allowed in the auditorium before any of the performances!
Students
may enter the auditorium AFTER INTERMISSION IF:
-
They
are finished performing ALL of their dances.
-
They
are NOT in costume.

There
will be volunteers in all of the dressing rooms to make sure the
children are safe. You may leave your children backstage for the
entire show if you choose to not buy a ticket for them. If parents
are not attending the show, you are free to bring your child home
after they are done with their dances. Parents are NOT allowed back
