Jodi Endahl

Jodi Endahl began dancing at the age of three.  She has performed nationally in dance troupes and musical theatre productions.  Jodi was the lead singer in the band, Atlantis, and toured with them throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.  She began teaching and choreographing over fifteen years ago.  She has studied numerous dance disciplines locally and at national conventions.  Most recently, Jodi worked with Just The Arts, Metro ECSU, Success Beyond the Classroom, St. Paul Public Schools, School District 197, St. Joseph's School, Augustana Preschool, Mom-Camp and with the Henry Sibley High School Pom Squad as their head coach.  She continues her dance education by attending numerous dance teacher conventions including Rhee Gold's Dance Life Teacher Conference in Boston, MA and the Dance Teacher Summer Conference in New York City this past summer. Jodi is extremely proud to have realized her dream of opening a successful dance studio with the help of numerous supportive family members and friends!  She is looking forward to many more years of sharing her love of dance with the families of Rhythm and Shoes Dance Studio.

Colleen Roth

Colleen began dancing as a child and has been involved in dance her entire life.  She has been a teacher and choreographer for over ten years.  She was captain and choreographer for her high school and college dance teams.  She has been a certified judge for the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams.  Colleen has studied tap, jazz and ballet throughout the Twin Cities and has attended national dance conventions across the country.  Colleen has recently studied in Boston, MA and New York City at dance teacher's conventions.

Keri Apps

Keri has been studying tap, jazz, and ballet since the age of three.  Keri graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Elementary Education.  In addition to teaching at Rhythm and Shoes, she currently has a daycare in her home while on a leave of absence from teaching Special Education for Saint Paul Public Schools, where she has taught for five years. Keri continues her dance education by attending a number of conventions yearly including Fluid Dance Convention, Rhee Gold's Dance Life Teacher Conference in Boston, MA and most recently studied in New York City with choreographers including Gregg Russell, Cathy Roe, Sheila Barker, Luam and Pat-Y-O.  Keri is looking forward to another exciting year at Rhythm and Shoes!

Molly Vasterling

 Molly has been a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Twin Cities for 20 years.  She is also a nationally recognized adjudicator for high school dance teams.  Molly is the current Head Coach of the Henry Sibley Warrior Dance Team.  In the past, she has performed with the Minnesota Jazz Dance Company, as well as the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Performance Team.  She has worked with the Minnesota Viking Cheerleaders as choreographer, guest teacher and game-day assistant.  She has guest taught at various dance studios, colleges and for dance associations across the state. 

Amelia Ruth

Amy Ruth brings with her more than twenty five years of dance and performance experience to Rhythm and Shoes.  Training predominantly in ballet, Amy has studied with Minnesota Dance Theater, The Cleveland Ballet Company and Broadway Dance Center in New York.  Her love and enthusiasm for dance is contagious.  She is thrilled to be a part of the teaching staff at Rhythm and Shoes!

Julie Schaal

Julie has danced at various studios around the Twin Cities since the age of 4. She has studied tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. She continues her dance education today at Rhythm and Shoes. This will be her 4th year teaching at the studio and she loves it! She especially enjoys introducing young, new students to the world of dance. Julie recently graduated from the U of M with a double major in Spanish and Psychology. Her love of education and working with youth has led her to a new career with the non-profit organization Metro ECSU/Success Beyond the Classroom where she will be planning events for youth in the metro area. She feels so fortunate to have the support of her dance family behind her in this new chapter of her life.

Karly Rose Dalnodar

Karly-Rose Dalnodar began her dance training at 4 years old in New York. After receiving merit and distinction on her Royal Academy of Dance exams she was accepted to be in the American Academy of Ballet training video for the Performance Awards. She again performed for the AAB at Sympany Space Theatre on Broadway.
Karly has danced with such companies as the Hudson Valley Dance Theatre, The Denver Ballet Youth Ballet Colorado and Hannah Khan Dance. She was part of her high school team as well as the Just for Kicks National dance team. Karly has coached gymnastics, taught dance and choreographed in Iowa, Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota. She is very excited to be part of the Rhythm & Shoes teaching staff this year.

Katie Harmeyer

Katie has been dancing since the age of ten with training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and high kick.  She was a captain and choreographer of her high school dance team and is currently the Junior Varsity coach of the Henry Sibley Dance Team.  She is also a high school English teacher in South Washington County.  Katie is excited to share her love of dance and looking forward to a great year at Rhythm and Shoes!

Jami Rose

As the 1st annual Rhythm and Shoes Dance Studio Student of the Year, Jami is thrilled to now be a part of the teaching staff at the studio.  Jami has been dancing since the age of 4 studying tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet.  She looks forward to continuing her dance education while having the opportunity to share her passion for dance with the students at Rhythm and Shoes.

  Michelle Patton

Michelle has studied dance since the age of 3 and continues to do so at Rhythm and Shoes.  She is currently pursuing a masters degree in teaching from Hamline University.  Michelle is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of dance with the students at Rhythm and Shoes Dance Studio.

Tia Trierweiler

Tia started dancing at the age of four at Dancin' Off Broadway in Alexandria, Minn. and trained there for 14 years. During her time there, she also taught classes for seven years.  Tia attended Minnesota State University Moorhead where she studied Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising.  Tia was also a member of the MSUM Dance Team for four years.  In January of 2007, Tia's team competed in Orlando, Fl. for the UCA/UDA National Championship and placed 9th overall.  Tia is very excited to be part of the R&S family and is looking forward to an amazing year!

Sarah Blair

Sarah has been dancing since the age of three and has been trained in tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet.  She is currently attending St. Thomas University to pursue a degree in Social Work. Her love of dance has led her to become a part of the Rhythm and Shoes staff. She is looking forward to sharing that love and knowledge with the students at Rhythm and shoes.

Celeste Grimm

Celeste started dancing at the age of three.  Celeste’s training includes schooling through many studios, workshops, and studying under some of the world’s finest dancers.  Celeste is skilled in Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz, Break dancing and all of the Social American dances.  Celeste began her professional teaching career in 2001 instructing Ballroom, Latin and Rhythm.  She has taught at many local studios and schools.  Celeste brings a wealth of passion and knowledge of human movement, and intricate rhythms to her choreography and performances. She is excited to be teaching at Rhythm and Shoes!

Shannon Franson

Shannon joins Rhythm and Shoes with 20+ years of dance training, including convention and competition experience, and seven years of teaching experience.  Shannon, originally from the Seattle, WA area, came to Minnesota to obtain a degree in Chemistry from the College of Saint Catherine. She has been working for a leading diagnostics company for 8 years. As a teacher at Rhythm and Shoes, she strives to share her love of dance with students and parents.
